Come See RightBio Metrics at NANN's 40th Annual Conference

This September, the National Association of Neonatal Nurses will be hosting their 40th annual conference in Orlando, Florida. The conference will take place from September 18-20th. The event is an annual convention for neonatal nurses, healthcare experts, and researchers for the purpose of discussing current breakthroughs and events as well as expertise related to neonatal nursing.

In addition to the many other experts attending the event, RightBio Metrics will also be attending the annual NANN conference at booth #417. As especially vulnerable patients, the safety of neonates is one of our top priorities. One of the largest threats to neonates in hospitals are misplaced NG tubes. Published studies indicate that up to 56% of feeding tubes placed in neonatal patients are in the wrong location. Typical testing methods for NG tube placement such as the ineffective and potentially dangerous “whoosh test” are not effective measures to determine the placement of these tubes. Instead, pH testing is replacing formerly widespread methods of testing due to its reliability and accuracy. The RightSpotpH® SmallBore Indicator offers superior pH testing reliability – even for the smallest and most vulnerable patients.

Come stop by our booth at the NANN convention this year to learn more about how RightBio Metrics is establishing a new standard of patient safety for neonates and accuracy for the placement of NG/OG tubes. We will gladly answer questions you may have about how our devices ensure a higher level of accuracy for feeding tube placement in neonates, or other topics you would like to discuss. If you’re not able to make it to the convention, please feel free to Contact Us in order to get in touch with a team member today.
