Come See RightBio Metrics at the SPN Annual Conference
Don Marcello
Every year, the SPN Annual Conference is hosted by the Society of Pediatric Nurses, serving as a professional development opportunity for pediatric nurses and other healthcare professionals who work with children and their families. Another important goal of the conference is to provide attendees with the latest knowledge of the best practices in pediatric nursing. The conference will be held in Pheonix, Arizona this year April 17-19th.
The RightBio Metrics team will also be at the conference this year. Among our primary missions is ensuring the safety of younger pediatric and neonatal patients. The traditional methods of confirming NG/OG tube placement are not accurate, with published studies reporting up to 56% of feeding tubes placed in pediatric and neonatal patients being somewhere other than their intended location. With about a quarter of all hospitalized children having an NG tube, this figure is particularly alarming. The RightSpotpH® Indicator offers reliability and accuracy for NG/OG tube placement confirmation that the typical methods cannot assure, revolutionizing patient safety.
With a tube placement confirmation method that is simple, cost-effective, and safer for patients and providers, RightBio Metrics is eager to demonstrate the capabilities of our technology. Come visit our booth at the show, and please bring any questions about the RightSpotpH® Indicator, or any of our other devices. If you aren’t planning on visiting the SPN conference this year, please feel free to get in touch with us today – one of our team members will gladly answer any questions you may have.
